Hydrometers - Potato

Unique to Zeal, this long established instrument is in extensive use throughout the potato industry.

The ZEAL potato hydrometer was developed by experts in conjunction with the UK Potato Marketing

Board for those in the industry who needed to accurately monitor the water content of potatoes.

An accurate and simple method measuring the solid content or dry matter of potatoes is

achieved, which satisfies the manufacturing needs of foods such as crisps, frying chips, small deep

frying potatoes, potato wedges, canned, frozen and powdered potato products.

Three patterns are available;

Code: D4500 17 TO 25% Dry matter

Code: D4501 14 TO 23% Dry matter

Code: D4502 18 TO 27% Dry matter

Spare weight, basket, ball and stem are all available to purchase separately.
